Jobs2View Ltd was formed in 2006 as a joint venture between two entrepreneurial recruitment experts and Ventutec Ltd.
Two individuals, namely Jonathan Glas & Harry Vlahakis form the main half of the joint venture. Together they have over 18 years recruitment industry experience, having set up and run their own successful recruitment business.
Their idea was to create an e-commerce solution that put Candidates and Employers into direct contact with each other, whilst incorporating the most up-to date video technology to maximise the effectiveness of the site.
Traditionally a recruitment consultancy will "interview" Candidates to asses their suitability for a job. So by utilising video technology and providing Candidates with a simple structure of how to portray their skills and career history, it was now possible to provide Employers with the means to quickly asses a Candidate's suitability and decide confidently on their shortlist.
Employers can also add their own Video Profiles to provide information that cannot be as clearly communicated by a written Job Advertisement. They can use this as an aid to attract the right candidates and promote their Company's work ethos.

The second party to the joint venture is Ventutec Ltd - a company providing a unique infrastructure and promotion package to start-ups and entrepreneurs with web based ideas. Their primary purpose is to accelerate the growth and profitability of new businesses by bringing their vision and expertise to joint venture projects.
