How do I register on Jobs2View?
Joining couldn't be easier, just follow this link:
http://www.jobs2view.com/candidates/signup.php
and input the requested information.
Once you have read and fully understood our Terms and Conditions please complete all the required fields. Fields marked with a red asterix are essential. Once you have registered we will take you straight to the CV Tools option where we will guide you through the process of creating a CV and recording a Video Profile.
Should you wish to keep your details confidential, please register as above and then go to Options. There you will find options that allow you to hide your personal details from employers. Ensure you select any areas that you would be prepared to relocate to in order to maximise your searches. Once you have found a job, you can suspend your details so that they remain on the database for future use but are no longer searchable by employers.

To upload your CV you must first register as a user of the site. Once you have done this simply click on the CV Tools option and input the requested information. Should you have a CV already, simply copy and paste the required information into the appropriate fields.
Why can't I upload my existing CV?
Jobs2View asks you to input your CV manually for two main reasons.
Firstly, to create a more effective search engine for employers to find your CV, it is important to be able to search a candidate's entire CV, rather than just a selection of key words.
Secondly, as we are one of the first companies to put job seekers in direct contact with employers, we need to limit the amount of candidates personal contact details an employer can view - otherwise an employer could sign up to our lowest priced package and have access to our entire CV database. Employers can view an unlimited amount of CVs but they use a "CV Contact Credit" each time they want to get a candidate's contact details OR invite them to an interview that is accepted by the candidate. But don't worry we give them more than enough credits to find the right people!

Simply perform a Job Search inputting your desired key skills, the preferred maximum radius from your home address and salary details. Once you perform that search and your search results are displayed; click the "Save Search" icon displayed above your search results.
How do I receive/change/deactivate my E-mail Jobs?
Once you have saved a Job Search we will automatically send you new jobs that match your criteria every 24 hours. Should you wish to change the Jobs you get sent, simply perform a new search and save that search.
To stop receiving E-mail Jobs, go to Your Account and Click on Options.
Then un-tick the "Receive automatic notifications of new jobs according to your saved searches" box.
I am willing/want to relocate. How can I show this?To stop receiving E-mail Jobs, go to Your Account and Click on Options.
Then un-tick the "Receive automatic notifications of new jobs according to your saved searches" box.
You can show employers that you are willing to relocate and even select your preferred areas by going to "Your Account", clicking "Options" and then ticking the relocation box.
If no towns are selected this will shown to employers that you are 100% flexible as to where you relocate.

To apply for any Job, first you must register as a candidate and upload your CV. Once you have done this, simply type your covering letter at the bottom of the relevant Job Advert page and click the "Apply Now" button. The employer will be sent your covering letter and a copy of your CV. You can track the progress of your application in the Applications Page.
How do I check the status of a Job Application I've made?
All of your Job Applications will be shown in your "Applications" section of Jobs2View.
You can track the status of your application in the "Application Status" section. This will show you any feeback an employer has submitted.

If you keep getting rejected for Jobs or are not being contacted about new jobs, this could be for one of several reasons.
Firstly, print off the preview of your CV and read it with fresh eyes. Does it portray all of your skills and abilities?
Remember employers use "Key Words" to search for CVs. For example, a mechanic may search for CVs that contain the words "Mechanic and Car". So if you're a mechanic but work as an "Automotive Technician" and don't have the word "Mechanic" on your CV, you wouldn't be shown in that employers' search results. So make sure you include generic key words in the body of your CV.

- Is your CV an accurate reflection of your skills and experiences?

- Does your Video Profile sell you as a candidate?
Jobs2View allows you to upload pre-recorded Video Profiles. However, we can only accept files that are a maximum of 3 Meg in size. If you have recorded a Video Profile on a video camera/digital camera and it won't upload, it may be because the file is too big. Remember the size of the file depends on the resolution of the picture. The higher the resolution, the larger the file will be. Try re-recording your Video Profile in a lower resolution format. I.e. check your camera settings and select a lower resolution. If this doesn't work, please contact us and we will do what we can: help@Jobs2View.com.
How do I change my details?
Simply go to Your Account and click on Account Details. You can alter all of your personal information.
