Thousands of students are just finishing their final year at university, so we thought it would be a great idea to find out how many graduates actually use their degree. The results were shocking with a quarter of students admitting that they felt their studies were a waste of time. The story, by video recruitment website www.jobs2view.com was featured in The Mirror and the Daily Record.
We ran a survey to find out how many people have really lied on their CV for video recruitment website www.jobs2view.com. We also found out about some of the embarrassing blunders people have made during job interviews.
When we found out the reason behind the idea for www.jobs2view.com we knew it would make a great straight story and after an interview with one of our journalists the story made in the Daily Express.
We have agreed for this rather humorous vacancy to stay live on Jobs2View as a one-off as the employer; Kirsten is happy for us to use it to help publicise the site, already generating ongoing coverage including the Daily Express, Daily Mirror and Daily Record, together with a live BBC radio interview and follow-up article on BBC Online.
She is also lined up to appear on a major daytime TV show. Together with actively targeting new registrants to offer them free use of the site - this is resulting in new candidate and employer registrations being uploaded every day.
The video and comprehensive detail offered on her vacancy has already attracted over 40 applicants in less than a week!

Kirsten is hoping that interested applicants will also upload their own Video Profile to help her identify her shortlist.
